Screw Conveyor and Surge Bin Packout System

The screw conveyor and surge bin highlighted here are a portion of a larger plastic material handling system. This integrated system automatically and accurately fills gaylord boxes with homogenized plastic regrind material. As seen in this video, it includes a screw conveyor capable of transporting up to 10,000 pounds of material per hour, a surge bin for seamless storage and blending continuity, and an automatic cycling drawer magnet that ensures the material remains free from tramp metal contaminants by automatically clearing accumulated debris. Additionally, the floor scale, equipped with an intuitive HMI controller, ensures each gaylord is filled to a preset weight while providing real-time status updates and material level indicators for optimal operational insight.
