Drain Out Valve on a Storage Bin
An Ensign Storage Bin can come with an optional side drain out valve that facilitates draining material when a gate or butterfly valve isn’t accessible under the VTA box. This option is ideal when challenged with low ceilings, space constraints, or situations where a Gaylord container cannot fit beneath the bin. It enables faster material drainage compared to pneumatic systems, making it useful for cleaning out contaminated material or performing product changeovers. The valve can be installed on various surfaces of the bin, helping to maximize storage capacity and improve operations.
