Mechanical Agitation For Storage Vessels
Ensign’s Mechanical Agitators are the ideal solution to keep your bulk storage vessels flowing. In the video below, a Mechanical Agitator is installed on a Bulk Bag Unloader Receiving Hopper however, this option can also be installed on any surge bin, power hopper, or any other vessel that is storing or managing non-free-flowing material. This option is most often used with materials that tend to bridge or rathole such as regrind, powder, or any type of flake material.
While the agitator shown in this application is a single rotating blade, we design the agitator based on each individual material and have often used multiple rotating blades to make certain that material continues to flow. This simple, smart solution is managed by an on/off selector switch integrated into the control panel of whatever equipment it is being installed with, providing mechanical agitation to keep your material moving!
