The Ratchet Safety Assembly is selected on new tilter orders more often than any other option. A sudden hose or bladder rupture on a tilter can cause an elevated gaylord to come rushing down uncontrolled which could potentially harm an operator. The Ensign Ratchet Safety Assembly is a critical safety option designed to reliably ensure operators are protected from an uncontrolled descension of a gaylord in the event of a catastrophic hose or bladder rupture.
